Yeah, if I'm more than 10 feet away from the tank I have to look hard to see it. At the first sign of movement it immediately starts the jaw rubbing on the glass. Then when I move closer it flares its gills at me and then floats looking up toward the spot in the aluminum mesh lid where I drop the food in at. It tickles me to watch it swim up to the glass with its gills flared and bobbing its head up and down trying to convince me of what a bad ass it is. Also, the disgust it shows toward our cat is really pretty humorous. It's smart enough to realize that the glass is there and is a barrier that hurts when you hit it face first at mach 1. It doesn't hit the glass anymore, it does a full fledged charge at what it sees that it considers a threat, only now it darts to the left or right about an inch before it hits it. I NEVER tease it or try to make it display. Anything I put into the aquarium gets attacked by the Wolffish almost as soon as it touches the water's surface. It floats at about a 45° angle just waiting on whatever tool or hose I'm using. Just never ever seen a fish so confident and bold in my 30+ years of fishkeeping experience.

Sounds awesome. Making me quite jealous lol, cant wait for the day to be able to house one.

Still doing well, getting thicker, longer, & more personable by the day. It seems really intrigued by the phone's camera. It follows me around the tank, going everywhere I go, even if it has just been fed and not hungry at all. It seems to have a curious personality, unlike any other fish I've ever owned. Lol I thought he was with another wolf at first. Maybe that's all wolves, my curupira seems curious but cautious, and I was changing the water at work where a rainbow wolf was and it was watching the siphon and I had to nudge it to move it, it was cool as I watched its eyes follow the siphon.

Did another water change today and I must've caught it at the wrong time. It just tried and tried to bite/eat/kill the end of the python I was using to vacuum the tank with. I'd stop what I was doing momentarily so as not to aggravate it, but it just sat there bobbing its head up and down and flaring it's gills at it. Then as soon as I moved it, was back on it biting it again. I never tease it or ag it on, but it's just relentless in its attack. Man, I sure wouldn't dare put my hand or arm in the tank with it. Maybe just a quick bite wouldn't be too bad, but its got the habit of biting and shaking its head furiously like a shark or bulldog.

That's what they do. How are you going to clean algae off of the back and sides? And it's just a baby. Wait till it gets 24". You'll be buying psyphon tubes like toilet paper

There's algae scrapers with handles of different lengths. But when it gets bigger you'll probably have to have someone distract it on the other end or something. Or hold it in a strong net.

I hope I stay lucky after seeing the damage it can inflict in 1-2 seconds of time on just about whatever it puts it's conical teeth into and the vise like jaws that operate those nasty little teeth.attachment-19.jpeg
