I am going to buy an fx6 or fx4 to aid to the filtration set up I have now. Do I really need that much filtration?
Perhaps I do, I have been having a bit of a hard time completely clearing my water of all my fogginess. Been doing water changes daily to make sure it cleara out completely. Its way better bow after 2 30% changes
I honestly don't think you need that much filtration. Do a water change, monitor water quality and you will know what your filtration can handle and how often to do water changes. Monitor as the fish get bigger because they produce more waste. A five gallon bucket filled with lava rock probably has more surface area than one of those filters that cost hundreds of dollars and if not just get a ten gallon bucket.
