Slow slow slow at this step. I put a large bead of GE1 around the entire perimeter of the glass (11 tubes worth). The silicone is now flush with the glass so now there are no exposed edges for fish to scrape themselves on. The silicone is very slow to cure when laid down 1/2" thick and 1 1/2" wide lo, so it's going to be another week or so until I tip the tank upright and do a leak test. Slowly coming together....

Your issue is you think that A 750 gallon tank will be less weekly Maintenance and running cost.:ROFL:
My 600 with 120 plus 2-4 inch fish is less maintenance then my 55 gallon with only an 12 inch Oscar and 13 inch pleco

120 2-4 fish in a 600 is a lot different then two monster fish in a 55. My point was that monster fish in monster tanks is never less work or cheaper to run.

H hartebreak the build looks awesome btw. That's some silicone job. Keep the updates coming.

We stood the tank up last night. We used to be able to move the tank around with 2 people. Now that the glass is in, it's a 3-4 person job to move it around. I'm going to give the silicone a few more days and will start the leak check this weekend.

Update.

Tank has been progressing although slower than I was hoping. We have been doing lots of camping this summer so the tank has been taking a bit longer. I got the leak check done. I filled the tank up a little over a week ago and it has been full ever since and hasn't even as much as dribbled. The last couple days I've been dry fitting the plumbing and have started on the overflow box. The Weld On cement for the acrylic overflow box will be here on Thursday and after that I can hook up the pump and get some water moving around. I am a little stressed on the overflow box staying adhered to the tank wall long term as silicone and acrylic don't play super well together. I have a couple ideas that may help but am open to any suggestions. Here are a couple pictures of the overflow box. It is cut from 1/4" acrylic. I=
