Well he did mention his aro is small atm, around 6-7" which means he still has a little bit of time to upgrade, and i give him credit for at least taking the time to come in here to ask questions and listen to peoples advice...

But yeah, to the OP your aro eventually will need a pretty large tank and without trying to sound rude, if you have no intent on getting a fairly large tank then it maybe a good idea to sell the aro while its small and get some other slightly smaller fish which could live happily in the tanks you have now without the need of an upgrade...

Very well put Homer. I wish I could come off that impartial and nice.

Yes it seems he's willing to learn. That's why I said someone talk sense to him. It was 1 a.m. and I was ready to go to sleep. There were still eleven other people in the thread at the time who are later night owls than me. I wasn't trying to be rude and I even posted a link to a sticky in the Aro section that is good info. Earlier I mentioned if he's not willing to get the proper tank he should sell it because I made the mistake of getting a Silver for my 265g and when it started to outgrow it, it was so hard to get rid of him. Not because no one wanted him but because I was so attached to him. I've seen some people so attached to them they keep theirs in an 18" wide tank and make the animal suffer so they can be happy. Just don't want that to be this Arowana's fate.
