Good link. The one I had had is a female for certain due to its cohabitation with other whiptails several times before, but has never grown odontodes.

I have two males and two females. The two males hang out together very close sometimes but exhibit obvious territorial behavior by nudging at each other like bump cars, especially at feeding time. The two females totally ignore each other.

yeah they are easy to breed. 15 years ago they were one of the few plecos that were actively bred in the hobby.

Sturisoma more difficult to breed than the lil' buggers I have but not to the point of being crazy difficult. Maybe play them some Barry White and they'll get busy.

I gotta give them there own space, way to many plecos in their tank right now. I was actually thinking more sinatra though.
