  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
list of rankings that have Fedor above Lesnar: fight magazine, mma weekly, sherdog, mma playground, mmaringreport, yahoo

do i need to continue? i haven't seen any with Lesnar over Fedor or Brock on ANY pound-for-pound lists

and brock doesn't think he's exactly ready for Fedor, either

"When asked if he would accept a fight versus Emelianenko, Lesnar indicated he would like several more fights before that challenge, but if the fight were offered immediately, 'Absolutely!'"

this is the last thing that i am posting here because this garbage is annoying ..

you 100% fail to read the section of our post each time that say we both think fedor is the better fighter ....

both of us like lesnar and think he is a legit fighter and just want people to stop talking about him like he is some fake actor that is trying to fight ...

we are just trying to say that fedor is the one with something to prove and he is the one who needs to make his move to the UFC happen to show that he is the best in the world by fighting the guys who are trying to prove the same thing ..

if you where a fighter and wanted to prove you where the best .. and you fought for pride and held the belt .. but wanted to still show the world that you where the top fighter .. would YOU fight in M1 or the UFC .. or would you not fight at all and just ride the fame out as long as you could before people just moved on ..

so while you sit here and bash our comments like your some MMA god by pointing out that fedor is higher ranked lb for lb then brock .. you fail each and every time to read the section of out post that say fedor is better but needs to prove it ..

but then again .. since you cant read i guess this post with be pointless

1) ok, so you admit he hasn't fought a single guy in their prime. So if he hasn't, and you say Fedor hasn't, why is it that the guy who has beaten 3 guys outweighs the guy who has beat 30?

2) You said he didn't have a belt, he does. Just simply pointing out what the truth is in this debate. Also, if you want to give weight to the ranking systems of the mma world, you should know that Fedor will be above Brock in almost any of them.

3) Ok, I disagree, but that's just a matter of opinion.

4) Records are how you compare fighters, it's as simple as that. When you have 2 guys, separated by a year and their records are 30-1 and 4-1, this should be a lot easier to resolve.

Brock's latest fights are with one former UFC heavyweight champ, and 2 guys who are over the hill.
Fedor's last 2 fights are against former UFC heavyweight champs.

The recent fights they have had are not that dissimilar, so when that happens, I'll take the guy who is 30-1 or 4-1.

Since we want to go with top 4 we'll keep it in that format.

1. Because he has fought guys who are better fighters more rescently. One was the champ other was an interim champion(But a champ none the less)

2. Your comparing a High School championship to a NFL championship. Doesen't matter if he has a belt or not. He is fighting in oraganization that have no one who is really good. If they can get Josh cleared to fight in Japan I suppose there is one more.

3. Dissagree all you want, his record since you like to bring record in again and again is solid. End of story. Largest company in the world with the most Pro/best fighters. Enough said.

4. Again, Fighting higher ranked fighter propels you further faster. Lesnar jumped right in the deepend and love him or hate him he beat the champ. Personally I thought he should have had to fight more oponents for it, but fact is he did and won. As time goes by if he continues to dominate and holds the belt for a while you'll see the scale start to even out. Only way Fedor's record will stay way ahead in 10yrs is if he fights low ranking fighters none stop to keep numbers up. None the less, his standing will fall. And if he waits to long, he will be well out of his prime aswell. Then if he does come to the UFC then, we'll have to listen to everyone say "Well, if they would have fought 5-10yrs ago it would have been different."

Honestly I find it comical how many of you slam the UFC. Shows the larger you get the more hated you become. Back to the original argument........
This is 100% Fedor's fault. Dana would have been crazy to let M1 co-promote. That would be like Ford letting Hugo come in and try and sell their crappy cars off their lot and giving them 50% of the profits. They offered him rediculous money and agreed to all his terms but one. Honestly the only mistake Dana made was he should have met them in person and had an interpreter other then fedor's greedy manager. I am sure the manager twisted what Dana said to help persued Fedor not to sign. Regardless, if Fedor doesen't come to the party soon it will be too late. If anything he needs to read up on Tito. For once Ortize(And I am not a fan of his due to his attitude) pulled his head out of his @$$ and made sence.

I wonder how many of you would actually leave your ladies if Lesnar came out and proposed to you.
Probably none but your lady would probably leave you,if you even have one.You must have lost a significant someone to someone else for you to be thinking along those lines.

Ok, if you think that Fedor is a better fighter, why is he the one with something to prove?
Shouldn't Brock, who you are saying is not as good, be the one who has to prove he's better?

And on the "some MMA god" thing, remember none of my posts were insults or derogatory, only discussing an issue. You were the one calling people fanboys and such, which portrays that your knowledge is above the others on this forum.

I just find it interesting that Brock gets credit for "jumping right in" when his first 3 fights were with a nobody, a loss to Mir, and then a win against Herring. If thats the deep end, I'll check out another pool.

He has had 2 top level fights, one with an aging, but good Coture, and a rematch with Mir. I just don't get how those fights carry so much weight, yet Fedor gets dropped down because of Sylvia and Arlovski.

For the most part, I agree with all of this. There is no way the UFC will ever co-promote, so if thats something that M1 is going to continue to hang their hat on, then there is no point even talking to the UFC. I put most of the blame on them, because they are entering a discussion where they have a demand that will never be met.

Most of the blame?
