Which would be more predatory community friendly? I had an odoe that jumped and was considering getting another or a Vittatus. Just wanted to get an opinion on both. Btw, it would be in a 100 until out grown then moving on to a roughly 400 gallon.

I have an Odoe which is a great fish, just lacks the impressive teeth. I would go with the Odeo until you have the larger tank.

Depends on the community I suppose.

My Odoe used to be a terror, until I introduced him to his Silver Aro tankmate. Now he's kept in check, and has formed a strange bond with my common wolf.

My ATF seems like a little baby. As long as you aren't a small feeder fish, you're ok in his eyes. He currently lives with 3 red tail tinfoil barbs (who I am using to pellet train him). He's never so much as nipped their fins. I catch them shoaling around him all the time.

So what do you have planned for your predator community stock?

Vittatus! Though, I would rather choose a forskalii.

Had an odoe with all kinds of fish, and never any issues. He was about 17" before he passed and easily one of my favorite fish I've kept. He was more aware than anything I've ever seen and would be staring at every move from over 20' away
