I remember everything that has happened this year. Point being, Boston owned just about everyone they played during the season, so they can beat anyone they want. They had a long one with Atlanta and Cleveland, but then they just finished off Detroit, the second best team in the league. Part of the Detroit buckle was caused by Boston as much as Detroit themselves.

Detroit was in no way the 2nd best team in the league. Detroit was in the Eastern conference! Besides Boston, Detroit, and Cleveland, the East was full of sad, very sad teams. Because they were in the East, their schedule was mostly these sad teams.

There people go again comparing regular season to the frickin finals. LMAO

:ROFL::ROFL: Owned???? Read this post again! First I believe you said more than 2 or 3 ;) so don't downplay your confidence and arrogance for this one argument's sake. Second, your #1 and #2 are contradicting....YOUNGER....AND MORE EXPERIENCE! Phil and the trainng can have rings, but they're not on the floor ;). Young, inexperienced players make young, inexperienced mistakes. So let me get this straight, Boston is old, and trying to get a ring before they go, but they are inexperienced compared to a young team whom 90% of their PLAYING team has never even been to the playoffs till this year? Give me a break! No one on Boston to provide confidence?!?! You're right, there's no big 3, there's no Posey (one of the most underrated players in the league), there's no Cassell (who though isn't shooting well, he has those rings you're waiving in your post). So you know the coaches confidence in their teams? Yeah, best record in the league has no confidence....Laker's perfect at home, that's a ton better than ONE loss at home. AND THE WHOLE POINT OF MY PREVIOUS POST WAS THAT LA WOULDN'T WIN THE FIRST 2 IN BOSTON. :screwy: Game 5 was a buckle by SA just as m uch as game 6 was a buckle by Detroit. I know who Kobe is, I know what he is capable of. I also know who Boston is, and what they're capable off. For what it's worth, I was joking with you about Kansas, but apparently you're too insecure for it. Sorry. I'm brushing you off my jock right now, cause your rambling proved nothing. oh, wait........NUFF SAID!

How in the hell are they contradicting??? Who on the Celtics has even been to the finals before??? On the Lakers, Kobe and Fish have each been to 4. Then you have the rest of the team, that is one of the youngest in the NBA.
So there you go, younger AND more experienced.

Does the coaching staff not have a HUGE impact on the game. If Phil wouldn't have decided to leave Kobe on the floor during the beginning of the fourth quarters (Kobes normal rest period) in games 1 and 5 vs SA, would the Lakers have won???

No they don't, atleast not with one of the back courts with the most final appearances in the NBA!

Who on the Celtics has been to the finals before? My point exactly. No finals experience. And they are old.

WTF!?!? Get your facts right man. Kobe and Fish-countless playoff appearances. Odom and Gasol-Each to playoffs 4 times, Radmonovich-4 playoff appearances, Farmar and Vujacic-2 playoff appearances, Turiaf- 3 playoff appearances, Walton-4 playoff appearances. Now, how in the hell has 90% of our team never been to the playoffs???

If they are so awesome, where are all the rings??

Very opinionated.

And what does he play, 5-10 minutes a game???

:iagree:, but the main point of my previous post was in no way confidence or home record.

Most clutch. Put the Celts in their graves if the game is close in the 4th.

Capable, yes! But delivering, NO! 7 games against Atlanta, come on! That should have been like a Bye for your all powerful Celtics.

I know you were joking with that, but the rest of your post was completly serious.

Read all above, NUFF SAID!

Yup. Doesn't mean a thing. Also, don't think LA is the only team that's going to step it up because it's the finals, you don't think Boston will as well?.....Damn, you biased little home town kids......

And you are not biased as well??? LMAO

Cassel has one ring that team was made without him. It will take posey, allen, pierce, just to keep kobe from scoring 81 again. Just because phil and the trainers aren't on the floor doesn't mean they aren't running whats going on on the floor. Fish and Kobe have the chemistry and expeirence to get it done point made, NUFF SAID!

I agree, but I believe it was you who said that you won the debate, and the thread should just be closed.

Is there no humor in a fish keeping lounge? You of all people should understand my cocky sense of humor... But I DO back my cockyness up:)

And last year Lebron could NOT get a shot off vs SA in the Finals! Look at what Kobe did to the SA defense this year. He got any shot he wanted!

Lebron has the potential to be the greatest player to revolutionize the way basketball is played. He at such a young age carried a team that shouldn't have been to the finals or even in the playoffs there. Get off his back, if lebron had shaq, fish, rice, horry countless vets on his team as kobe did he would have won 3 rings just as kobe has done. This is not a comparison to any other player just stating the obvious.
