Hello; Well if a theory works out to be correct that may change in the next few decades. I think it goes something like this. The very large ocean current that runs up the east coast of North America (Gulf Stream) passes by Hudson bay and points north and then turns east and crosses the North Atlantic. Along the way it gets cold, gets renamed, joins some other currents and eventually goes near the UK.
The theory is that as the ice melts it will change the salinity of this current loop and, I think cause the current to alter. May be that there is different weather in the future for you.
Hello; Water a lawn??? If you do that the stuff will grow even more. I look forward to the time when grass growth slows down around here usually in July and August. Right now I have to mow at least every 6 to 8 days. Later I should be able to go a couple of weeks between mowing.
The grass gets brown and not such a pretty green then but will come back strong in the fall. A few summers ago my area had high temps (over 100 degrees F) and little rain so that it was mostly brown by the 4th of July. Only had to mow the area over the septic field. Was back to green and weekly mowing by the fall.
