Hello; back in the 1950's I was in the Boy Scouts of America. There was a program we could try out for called "The Order Of The Arrow". It involved some trials over a few days and a bonfire ceremony at the scout camp called Sequyoia (SP) on Norris Lake. Some of us dressed up like native American Indians to one degree or another. I had very little in the way of an Indian costume but some had big headdresses with lots of feathers and other stuff.
I have been moderately proud of having made it thru the ordeals for the past 50 + years now. I think I still have the pocket patch I saved from my old scout uniform after I outgrew it. At the time it never occurred to me that some one might be offended. I do not think I would have taken the idea seriously had the thought occurred to me back then.
I am trying to see if I can work up a state of having regret about that episode in my past. No, I can not get there. I don't get it apparently. Seems as silly as all the recent to do about the Washington Redskins football team.

The planted hobbyists here are awesome! Got a load of plants a while back (free), someone from the other end of the country dropped off some stems when they had to fly down here for work and I bought 8 mini type anubias for $4
