Oh yeah those guys seems hungry for action. Probably why we never hear much about them getting robbed.

Speaking of heists. We've been having people scope out our neighborhood. Neighbor confronted a lady that said she was our realtor. When asked our name she drove off. Then my mom gets a call ( their address is on my license because you can't change that online) from a lady using a Google number asking about out house.
First house I had to get an alarm on and I've lived in some rough areas. Tried to do right calling the police but they said they won't do anything unless we catch them in the "act". Alrighty I'll handle it then

Thanks. I have motion triggered ones inside, but I need some outside. I was looking at short range deals so you couldn't hack unless you're right on us.
You really think the hacking is an issue ? I didnt consider it much but i guess it is a real possibility
Burglar bars ? Id imagine allot of us dont need bars outside our windows. Cant elaborate but breaking into a house in certain areas could be quite dangerous
Oh I am sure. Security is very tight in all areas here, there is always a risk of break ins and not everyone is capable of defending themselves unfortunately. Bars inside the windows, security gates by doors. Walls are often spiked or topped with electric fence etc
US is a big place it depends on where you're at. Where I'm at its like the wild west. Police response times are terrible so everyone is armed. Growing up dogs were our alarms and it was s.o.s. so everyone somewhat behaved. If you stole from someone and they found out they'd come get their stuff back. These days thieves can sue after getting hurt in your house...and win! So now you have to take every precaution to protect yourself from legal problems. Security isn't laxed but thieves are getting more rights so now everyone is having to put up more barriers. Atleast we're I live.
Now i moved to an area where people from where I used to live go hunting...
Yes hacking is an issue. I tried to tell my wife's friends but they didn't listen. People jacked into their cameras and even the high tech baby monitors. Occassionally someone would talk trash to the baby at night!
