I wouldn't say anything is in a "bad way". People are upset about not being able to openly worship their Christian deity but when satanic groups or other obscure or unfavorable religious groups try to openly practice or express their beliefs they're chastised for it. How about we just not let anyone openly worship anything. I have no problem with that. For some reason tradition here also creates this annoying feeling of entitlement.
People are just not open to change. Just because the country was "found" (or whatever the word is) on a particular set of religious beliefs doesn't mean it should or has to stay that way. Or that any deviation from that means that something is wrong. Change is a not only a part of personal life but it is also inevitable within cultures.

Well we aren't in another country or talking about another country. But you're right. It shouldn't have to take the back seat. But neither should the others. Either everyone plays nice or no plays at all. It's not fun but it's fair. It's also simple.

During christmas most of the malls have santa claus/christmas areas to take pics with kids and our mall does a christmas parade every year, its fun the kids love it and all sorts of people take part in it not just christians jews, indians, you name it. Last year they banned santa claus and the christmas parade because it was offensive......

Its not just about religion it involves our culture no matter how hard the pc movement tries to deny it this country was founded on judeo-christian beliefs...doesnt mean we shouldnt be tolerant of other religions but santa claus is every bit apart of American tradition as is cherry pie.

How in the world is Santa offensive? Last time I checked he wasn't super attached to any religion. He just comes around the time of one religious celebration.

People should learn to suck things in a bit and deal with it. People are looking for excuses nowadays.

The US may have been founded on some sort of religious system, but I don't think laws should be built based on any holy book or set of religious rules. This whole marriage thing amused me because it doesn't really effect everyone but so many were still against it

man i wish the younger people in the US were more like you. Thats exactly right. Just deal with it.
I believe we are one of the most tolerant nations in the world, maybe not en every single aspect but we are getting their, but nothing is good enough for the PC they would literally rather offend and restrict the many to appease the few.

See this is thing, no ones perfect, no country, or society will ever be but at the end of the day not everyone is going to be happy and that fine move on deal with it man.

Someone wants to worship satan go for it just dont stop the rest of us from practicing our traditions because you are the ones chastising others for their beleifs...all the pc weirdos out there are in for a rude awakening.

I have plenty of friends that are from other religions my neighbors were indian and celebrated christmas did they go to church no did they give their kids gifts and a christmas tree yup...because it was enjoyable to them if it wasnt then thats fine too would they have a right to stop me from putting up christmas decorations ?... lol try and stop me

Best part is the phrase "in god we trust" doesnt specify what god so not only are they trying to apease non christians but also atheists see everyone has to be nice nd happy but they still havent figure out who lol

Let's start with the cake bakers. Why should a cake baker be forced to make a g@y cake when someone down the street would be more then willing to sell them a g@y cake?

Why should a church be forced to marry 2 g@ys when a JOP most likely doesn't give a hoot about whether or not they are they g@y?

What's happening is the g@ys are forcing 'non-believers' into their belief system. That's like forcing an atheist to lead a pray in a church for a Christian.

There is no issue with it but the problem is that the church ahouldnt be force into anything, just like a cake baker shouldnt be forced into anything... he has a right to follow his religious beliefs just as the gat couple has a right to do what they please
