I'm wearing my military grade shoes. I think they're actually Chinese copies of army shoes.
Does that still count?

I don't own any "military-type" weapons. Just some WW2 relics of my Dad's service. No firearms though. I do own target rifles and cowboy guns.

But enough about that! I just filled my first acrylic aquarium, and it is running.
Now I need to drain it a bit. My stand has a bit of crown in the back or the tank does. It's got a couple 0.024 plastic shims under the back corners right now, with 70 gals of water in it.

Felix watches in envy . . .

Hello; Well I fear someone will try to start a ban on cars around here soon. Apparently a man decided to run over some people near Jefferson City TN yesterday. In at least two instances he did hit at least three people and killed two or three. He hit an elderly man who is still alive and killed a woman and child.
Apparently he claims a voice told him to run over the people. He is in custody so maybe we will learn more. Does not at this point appear to be an accident.
 
Hmmm I wonder if there are any names attached to those voices the guy said he was hearing?
 
S Steve_C He tried to escape as I moved him and he is pretty scratched up right now but he will look better in a week. Perhaps I should have given him a fish sedative.

Hello; The news I saw moments ago did not say. But since it is local I will be getting more details in the next few days.

Another strange incident yesterday in or near Knoxville TN. Police stopped a man and found he had half of a persons body in his car. They backtracked and found the other half back where the driver had hit him. And no I do not know if voices were heard in this case. I also do not know how only half got into the car either

That's Oscars for ya. They act all weird when ya do anything in their tank. Whenever I stick my hand in my Oscars tank he usually goes and lays on his side like he's dead lol

Felix the Oscar is one of my favorite fish of all time.

He's a bit scratched up right now but he'll heal fast. About that time he'll also forget that I was the one that beat the snot out of him moving him from tank to tank to tank.

Right now he does not like me and he won't eat while I'm looking. LOL

But he does seem to love his new tank.

(EDIT...I really hate that pink and green plant, but it's part of the bio-media transfer process. It was a gift from a color-blind friend. I think it will migrate to the patio sump.)

Mine used to do this, but now he wants to argue instead. Once or twice he just dashed in and bit me because I was moving HIS plants around.
 
I love it when my fish bite me.I don't keep piranha however.
