That is one good-looking pink male! Are his eyes really that blue or is it just the way the camera took the picture?

I guess, it was about 3-4 years ago now. Here's anther pic, I'll try to get some pics of Pinky II tomorrow.

I'll try the hard water thing too, I want to grow him to at least 4" before trying to breed him.

This guy measures 5.25" not including the tale. I also have a barred con thta is just a bit smaller.
