OMG!!! Snake Escaped!! HELP!!!!!

I would do a very thourough search of the whole place. Usually what happens is they find a way into your drywall and pass away there. Hopefully you find him. I wouldn't tell the landlord because there is a good chance that he won't be found. I really do hope you find him. Sorry.
 
I don't mean to nitpick you, but ideally bp's should have 2 hides....one on the hot side of the enclosure and one on the cool side. The reason for this is so they do not have to choose between feeling secure in the hide or being the right temperature.

Also, i'm assuming that you usually keep a water bowl in there, right???

Good to know... I didnt realize that.. he usually hides in the cave.. I'll pick up something for him next time I go to the pet store.. :)
 
Going back to page two... never, ever, leave a live rat/mouse in a snakes tank overnight. You are lucky the rat didn't chew on the snake (Or worse).
