My wc 8-9 inch del is fine with my 3in nandus. But they are fed regularly and never fed feeder fish.

I have two 20L and this 125 and an empty 75 that I need a canister for so I guess I could put the sevs in the 20L for a very short time?
What about 1 oscar? Would they get along with the sevs and polys? I want variety.

You'll never know if they will get along until they mture. I would say good chance but the bioload of the oscar along with the other fish you plan on keeping is gonna be fun to deal with lol. The worst part will be feedings...O's pretty much eat anything. If my cichlids werent herbivores and hate tilapia and meaty fish then i probably would have seperated them a long time ago. Could always do the feeding after lights out and hope the oscar doesnt notice but watching them eat is one of the best parts.
yeah, I'm pushing it with the bioload. I almost want to get another canister so I'd have 3 550 gph on here lol. Seems a little over board but you can't have too much filtration.

If you get the Del I saw, like I said it's definitely more than 3 inches. And it had a lot of markings. Some of the Dels you see don't, and that's my favorite part about the Dels - their contrasty markings.

I'm just going off of what I like and what I am thinking of in the future, but I am sort of in love with Paratilapia Polleni. They supposedly have the Oscar personality without being quite so messy. They can be with other cichlids, you don't want any other black fish in the tank from what I've read. Of course like any Cichlid they are could be hit or miss but people keep them with other cichlids frequently.
