You can get it from lfs, but i go to walmart and baitshop.

Do you just clean them off then throw them in or make the worms empty there digestive system ?

They shoulllld generally stop when full.... unless you have a fatty boombalatty Ornate like DMD123 DMD123 .
My teugelsi is offended... that you called him an Ornate, not about the "fatty boombalatty" :p

Are you trying to say this is not normal?

jwd jwd , watch out with the captive born fish, they dont seem to have a good working 'off' mechanism to tell them to stop eating. Not uncommon to see cb dels develop the 'beer gut' like my teugelsi.

I don't use pesticides in my yard so I have a digging spot that I get my worms for free in. :) They are smaller when I do it that way too.

I have just rinsed mine.

Also, frozen krill are another option for your feeding rotations.

I've been told that once they get to like 6-7 inches you can drop feeding to every other day. What I've been doing is fasting a day after they get fish, krill, or worms and then do a pellet day followed by another rmeaty day. Do you guys think that's OK? Moke is not quite 6 inches, should I still feed daily?

I got back from my trip and fed these guys this morning. My Delhezi are absolute pigs. They come out and feed immediately while 2 of the 3 ornate just hide in the rocks. One of the ornates swims all around the food and I haven't seen him eat today. I have a feeling my Dels are going to be huge in no time. You can see their little fat stomachs, it's so funny.

It's kinda gross, but I'd cut the worm in half if its a medium to large size. Have had other poly keepers tell me they suspect some of their uj died from choking on a reasonable size worm.
