Where I live in Panama many insects are similar to Amazonia. If this guy lands on you and you try to swat it off, those barbs on its legs, cut like a razor.
The above and below are always wanting to be invited in.
All the above end up as cichlid food is they make inopportune landing spots.

lol one time I think a fruit fly landed in my tank and had lots of baby flies. unfortunately the baby flies didn't realize I had a glass cover so they were trapped and my cichlids picked them off one by one.
