I'm just worried about the Arowana deciding he wants to eat a baby ray or something, I dont know if it would really do it though as black aro's are one of the calmer aro's.
I would probably keep the pups in the main tank for a day, or night and then move them to the LFS I will be working at and probably put a few in the display pond once they are large enough, I just dont know how well they would do with the Koi. If they cant go in the display pond I'm sure I'd abe able to work something out though.
