Leo export from South America is very restricted so I doubt they will go down. Until captive breeding becomes less labor intensive I doubt these will go down either.

why why do people moan about price all the time
i think if you think the hobby is to expensive find another one
big tigers are expensive but most of them have been grown by someone for 5-7 years
tigs are not that expensive
Asian aros are expensive yes but all you people in the US ever do is moan that you cant get them if they were legal would you pay $1000+ for one
black rays are expensive but worth every cent if you ask me
just by what you can afford and what you like
my collection has taken me 10 years to get all the fish in one place no rush just get the fish you like even if it does take a few years

Prices of fish are pretty reasonable compared to my other hobby, tarantulas. I would never spend more than $100 on a fish, yet I spent $400 on a female tarantula. Crazy.
Spending thousands on one fish is silly to me, but not to others so I guess it depends how you look at it.

You forget how much effort is used to grow these ones or even bother transporting them in that size. If you wait for a decade to grow your loaches, you would be overpricing them as well if you plan to sell them. This is Law of Supply and Demand. There is always a very high demand for large clown loaches as they are difficult to come by.Eoibio;3257363; said:
