Parachromis dovii growout thread

Very short video "update" sorry for bad lighting it was late evening and I had the lights dimmed down.... gonna be transdering the fry to a 110 gallon grow out.....would have liked to grow them out in a 55 gallon then later a 110 gallon but it's what I have so I'm going to use it....

 
UPDATE: 8/18/16 Parachromis Dovii

My male is doing fine he is about 4 inches tall now and 7 or 8 inches long. Unfortunately the female passed for no apparent reason. No issues with water parameters or anything and the male didn't attack her. I have since aquired the FATHER to this male displayed in my thread. he is 18+ inches wild caught from Costa Rica. He was owned by my buddie for several months who spawned him and gave me fry..(which is why i have the smaller male) and now is mine. anyways here he is... Hoping to find a large female for him. Again he is the father of this dovii shown in the thread. no idea why in the bottom pic the dovii's eye looks red

Moved smaller dovii to the 340 gallon the Big dovii temporarily has the 240 to himself until I can find a larger tank. The small dovii will also not be in the 340 with the arowana and stuff for long its just temporary.
