parents and your tanks

i could do this but my mom is always home. she not really in to it as much as my dad is he has a 135 saltwater tank once he is done with it i hope to have it. :D
 
actully.....I put a 180 setup in our kitchen area with a 22" Nurse shark. I just did it, to hard to move when it was all said and done. But it was nice until I moved. mom came around :)
 
Haha it's so funny. Your parents are better about getting tanks then my husband is. He just does not get it. He is like half of your moms are. I can't have any more tanks till we move. That could be years from now.

I always make deals with my husband. He got to go surfing and get another surf board. So I got a tank now we are all happy.

Save up your own money..price it out. filter/heater/tank/stand/glass tops/light/rocks..sand decor. If you want plants? No fish that need upgrade?that is always an lol move. Get a list together and price it out, if you save up your money and did the research and have a nice looking setup..it will grow on them. Takes a few months but they get used to it. Try and get it to match..don't do it ghetto. Get a nice tank for the house not a cheap good deal tank. just imo.

kill your parents. that way their opinion wouldnt matter AND you would have an xtra room in the house to put a tank. (im just kidding about killing your parents btw)
 
I would just set up a tank while they were at work and let them find it. They would be super pissed and say no more. then they would love the tank. Wait a couple months and repeat.
