The main reasons I started keeping fish. If it wasn't for him bringing home an Oscar when I was 11 I may never have got into fish keepin in the first place. Now I have a 55, a 72, and a 220. My mom even likes it, she thinks it's awesome how her Severums bars darken and lighten up in the blink of an eye.

My parents support my hobby, they commont on my fish and sometimes watch them... they have always wanted me to do a community tank beacause i had a lote of tanks with 1 fish... they didn't force my though... my parents were right, my cichlid community is soooo cool! my parents watch it sometimes...
I am 26, and got my start into aquaria from my dad. He HAD a beautiful S/W tank. But with older age, he got bored/tired of the maintenance, and sold it. Now that I am into it, with 3 tanks, a 180g being my largest. They like them, enjoy watching them. My dad will get on me sometimes telling me that I could be spending SOME of the money on other things, but all in all, he knows its a passion for me, something that I enjoy, so he supports its 100%
