He's pushing about 8.5 inches
Eating a lot of shrimp
He's all alone right now possibly thinking of adding some barbs.
He's lovin life right now!

Very nice. We have quite a few in the large "River Monsters" tank at the Tennessee Aquarium. They are all 3'+. Some are 75-100 pounds. It's amazing how fast they grow in a large tank. Good luck with your beautiful fish. Thanks

I got either a Paroon or a Gigas, one way or another it was growing faster than my kids so I had to move it to a guy with a pond. Cool fish while I had it though.
