my armatus outgrew a 140 gallon in 7 months, and he started at 6 inches.Basstrainer;1715978; said:actually you could keep a armatus in a 55 for a year considering you get it at 1-3in and you feed it frozen foods. but once it gets big ask somone in your area if they want it for some cha-ching (dude a fully grown armatus is about 300$ in Cali.) but yea you wouldnt be able to keep it in a 55 for ever a 225+ would be great.

keep up the good work! scombs are hard to raise. prove the 12 inch mysterious death syndrome wrong!Basstrainer;1719353; said:lemmie re do what i said armatus will but outgrow so fast i meant scomb ive kept my scomb in a 60 and hes doing fine and i got him at 3in and he only grew 1in over 3months i feed him tiny choped up salmon tank mates are:
1: golden oscar 3in
2: peacock bass (one tem thats only a 1in long and one mono only 2in long)
1: royal pleco 5in long
1: giant gourami 2in long ( FTW )
and lastley the scomb. (3 in long )
but strangley they never pick on the 1in temensis i mabey the just dont think of him as a food source since i never fed them live foods. but what do i know.
