Mine didn’t accept dead silversides, tried it without feeding him for 4 days. Refused to eat them though. Probably a stubburn walleye 

I was thinking the same thing after seeing the close-up pic.Those walleye look extremely malnourished. They should probably at that size be fed live food several times per day at the very minimum.

They would probably take night crawlers, etc. Not the best food though, make a mess of the tank and not much nutrition. But a fun treat for sure.I was thinking the same thing after seeing the close-up pic.
What about earth worms? Maybe red wrigglers for fish this size?
Perch are pigs and adapt to tank life well.I’ve had no issue with feeding them feeders, bloodworms, and leftover ice fishing bait which entailed wax worms. I’m going to try silver sides shortly. Feed them pretty heavily this weekend the perch look like they’re going to expolode.
