Petsmart ignorance...

I have plenty of lfs's in my area and I absolutely love them. I will always support lfs regardless if I like the chain stores or not. I just went to petsmart cause their peacocks are on sale for a limited time. Im always looking for deals. lol

I wish I could say the same, I've only been to one that I like an I plan to buy from them in the future, its just a bit of a drive and they sell more fish then supplies from what I've seen. Smells like a warf when you walk in, but thats because of the rows an rows of fish... its awesome

Petsmart/petco come in 2nd because they are open late when I get off work an they have a decent amount of crap. dog food, tick meds, fish stuff, herp items, etc.

The Petsmart has afew cute chicks and this fat goofy kid that cracks me up everytime I see him trying to catch a fish an then ask for a mop over the intercom or the time he told this lady that they were more of an impulse pet store an she should ask the experts instead

Thats crazy, most of the petsmarts around me usually know about what there selling. When i bought my tiger Oscar about a year ago the lady helping me asked me what size tank i had and warned me of there size.

I have to agree with you on that one there man,a few days ago,this stupid woman,wanted to buy a electric blue jack dempsey for a 6 gallon tank,I had to butt into the conversation,to tell this idiot woman,depending if its a male or female,it can grow from a range of 6 to 8 inches from what I have seen in real life so far.Surprisingly enough,the person who runs the aquarium department,was very smart and agreed with me a 100% that a ebjd could never last inside a small ass 6 gallon tank.Other then that,I have met at least 2 women who work at petsmart,that were actually good with fishes,cause their boyfriends own aquariums.

when i went to petco they had their cornsnakes in a tank held together with duck tape the snakes got stuck to it so i told the employee he yanked the tape off taking a lot of skin with it and killing one of the poor little guys the employee said it was sleeping

All I can say is hell yeah man thanks to you thats one less fish being abused and one less fish that we have to worrie about being dumped into are streams. thanks thanks a whole lot man .

I disagree with that part, the pacus at our petsmart usually die in less than a month, can't keep them healthy on the corporate cleaning schedule
