Like many have mentioned before its a difficult balance when you stock multiple aggressive cichlids in a tank, irrespective of the tank size.
Sometimes you get lucky and they all get along and you have a spectacular tank, which then becomes the envy of everyone, other times the alpha/tank boss decides he doesn't like company and slaughters everyone else.
It is great that you are listening to advise and understand that hyper aggression from one of these fish is a distinct possibility.
You have some beautiful fish & I wish you luck and hope you have a tank like I did in the past where they all lived in peace.

Well thank you very much! ALot of thought and planning went into my stock list, plus individual personality’s and purchasing the right size of the right fish at the right time, plus I’ve gone through gallon upgrades at specific times to help with aggression and things of that nature. I am very lucky and blessed to have such wonderful fish who NEVER fight except for the occasional scuff between my two Oscars, but it never lasts long and it never gets to rough. 99% of the time they are following each other around happy as can be like shadows of each other’s. Literally it’s like once every month for maybe 5 minutes. Besides that the only thing is my fire mouth likes to put on a big talk and try to intimadate my Oscars and other fish but she’s done that since day one so none of them take her seriously lol. It’s pretty funny actually, especially when she try’s it with Opal who lets her know sometimes that she’s the queen not my firemouth lol.
