Pictus Catfish and Rainbow Shark

Should I get a second catfish? Knocking the shark off of his tyrannical pedestal might be worth it, though in my opinion my shark definitely has a better personality than others.

Despite it being a semi-aggressive tank, no fins are ripped and no one is getting bullied specifically as far as I can tell. I just don't quite understand my shark's behavior toward the catfish.

If your gonna get more pictus you need atleast three... fish that stay in groups tend to have a hierarchy so with two one usually gets bullied and that can cause fatal stress. If the cat is staying in the hide when the shark is trying to get it out I wouldn't worry to much personally. If the shark didn't let the cat hide then I'd worry.

Heya everyone!

Instead of getting more pictus, I ended up just removing that particular tunnel that the two of them liked. The catfish took the remaining hideout and my shark is currently sulking about it.

I didn't want to remove anymore hiding places, but the two of them just refused to get along otherwise. Thanks everyone for the help!
