Pitbulls attack mother, kills child(4 years old)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
as they should. went and read some back on it, mother says they where eating him and nothing she could do, this nothing any mother should have to see.

That's interesting from a behavioral standpoint, that they actually consumed(or attempted to) the child.

Agreed, no mother should see that. I can't imagine

how many people must die before we realize we need to rid the world of pit bulls??

they're only good for illegal fighting and making gangsters look hard and legit

you want to rid the world of pit bulls because theyre a man made dog breed that are hard
working, loyal, intelligent, athletic, agile, loving, sweet & forgiving? this breed is the most misunderstood dog breed of all times not to mention neglected, mistreated, mislabeled by
mass media and misjudged. do you know that the most decorated war dog in history was
a pit bull named sgt. stuby? do you know that majority if not all "pit bull" related dog attacks
are not actually pit bulls but mutts that are back yard bred by people only after a quick buck
which are not cared for, mistreated, neglected and etc etc. do you know your more likely to
get bit by a chihuahua or dalmation than a actual "pit bull"? just because pit bulls have a bad reputation because of the false mass hysteria made by mass media reported by false information
you think pit bulls should be completely rid of from this world? how very foolish... take any dog
breed and put it in your yard then neglect it, mistreat it, ignore it, let it survive and fend for itself
for long periods of time then see what happens. the dog nor the breed of a dog is at fault. a dog
is a animal and animals have instincts regardless of being a domesticated animal or a wild animal and when that instinct for survival kicks in it will do what any other animal will do. you cant blame
the breed or the animal. they are what they are and what "we" man kind made them to be. the only ones at fault here are us humans for taking in a animal and not being responsible about it... most people who get/has dogs have no real knowledge of dog behavior or signs and what not and this is why dog attacks happen even though it can be avoided. people need to learn and study it before
they go out and buy a dog or pup just thinking about how cute it is... i feel like there should be a
license required to own any type of large breed dogs and thorough background and home inspection. too many irresponsible and unknowledgeable dog owners... if people were responsible and knew about their dog breed and their background most/many of the dog attacks that has happened
would not have happened or could have been prevented...

BAN THE DEED, NOT THE BREED.
BLAME THE HUMAN, NOT THE DOG.

Hello; Thanks for clearly stating that the PB is a dangerious breed and needs special handling. Many seem to want to think they can be kept like any other dog.

you keep pinpointing that pit bulls are a "dangerous" breed... but you can call any dog or breed
dangerous if looked at certain points or to extremities... please stop as any dog regardless of
its breed can be deemed "dangerous" and not just pit bulls.

Wikipedia bro

look up pitbulls. it's in the first paragraph

do you believe everything stated in wiki? you sir seem like a very ignorant person...
pit bulls were not bred for dog fighting none the less to fight other pit bulls... they
were bred by man to fight bulls next to the matadors or in a pack without the matador
hence the name "PIT BULL" ( a dog in a pit that fights bulls ) . . . . . .

not sure i agree with that. but hey its late or I am early.

So....does respectful toward humans mean THEIR handler or any random stranger?

Me but does it matter?
I'm curious to see who actually has experience with the breed and who's just arguing from what they've seen on the news.

i have experience with bully breeds since ive kept them my whole life.
i have helped train bully breeds as well multiple other large breed dogs
in schutzhund 1-3, basic obedience training and the likes. what happened
is no doubt a very unfortunate event but people need to stop with this whole
pit bull is a evil breed of dogs and need to "be rid of from the world" nonsense.
it couldve happened with any other dog breeds & yet its always bash the
bully breed. heck while i was still in school when i was younger i've been bit
many times to the point i lost count while i worked as a dog groomer and basic
obedience trainer and i have never been bit by a pit bull or any other bully breeds
and as a matter of fact any larger breed dogs even without restrictive harness
or muzzles. the most common breed of dog ive been bit by were all smaller
breeds such as chihuahuas, beagle, pomeranian, and other small breed mutts.
regardless of breed purebred or mutt each dog is different but with proper knowledge,
care, responsibility most if not all dog attacks should/could be prevented. the
problem lies with the dogs owner or the person. and honestly the child's mother is
also fault... she should not have let her child near the dogs or the fence where the
dogs were when both parties are unfamiliar with each other. the dogs were clearly
unsupervised and their actions prove that they were not properly taken care of and
neglected. as a human being she shouldve been smarter and have been more
responsible but she wasnt and most likely just shrugged it off as "theyre just dogs" it'll
be ok. to be blunt its a matter of cause and effect.
