As far as the LFS employee telling you plecos eat poop rather than algae, he sounds legit. Can you get me his name and number? I am looking for a private tank consultant. Would he be interested? How about as a tax advisor? Mentor? Spirtual guide? I have a lot of questions about life and the world. I need affirmation and I have a good feeling about this guy.
My algae is more from high intensity light than sunlight. I have BSN plecos in my 120 and 220. They never see sunlight. My 90 has some sunlight risk, albeit not too much. I cannot have a pleco in it b/c my Flowerhorn hates every living thing but me, and my soon-to-be tank consultant/bff mentioned above.
