I suspect that what survived are the ones that are carriers and all of the ones that might have turned out Blue or Gold or even Platinum may have died off when they were wigglers.

A couple few more months of grow out and these should be ready to spawn, just in time for spring.

Any updates on your quest for platinums. I had one once but he died on me. I suspect he was not very healthy but had beautiful colors.

Hi Everyone!

Well, had to do a big culling. Hard to see them go. After the fact, I realized that a pair had formed and there is a spawn. Unfortunately, they are already wigglers and I don't know how old, so I'm not going to try to raise this spawn. Here is the mom, guarding her clutch in the log. Love the dark breeding colors.



Here are some others in a separate tank.

I may need to get another Gold/Blue Gene from one of you guys to spawn to my Solo Female Gold (from earlier in the thread). Otherwise, I'm going to spawn another EB from a sibling pair and then cross back to the Solo Gold ... which would be a grandson to grandmother spawn ... EWWW.
