To be honest with ya you can come down to the Albany area and pick up 2 in pb for $11. Also do you have a tank capable of holding 2 pbs

You are not wrong. He is not wrong. Only way to settle it if you are not comfortable with the sale is to just walk away. The seller knows that you can do this also. He is not being unfair. He probably had second thoughts of selling them at that price.

Huh? Have all your "second thoughts" before you make a deal with someone.

You really think that's ok to do?

When both parties agree on a price and agree to the terms...then it is a contract.

I would NEVER do that to someone, no-one should.

what a turd... i would tell him to take his two pb's, well you know the rest

Sounds like a bad idea, u can always do bad market feedback

Just wait until he hits you for the weeks storage fees, added to the price of one weeks feeders, electricity, water and labor charges for the fishes upkeep. You will owe him $200 for these two peacock bass.

You better get em quick, while the gettin's good!

Run away! Unless he apologizes and offers you one for free and the other at the original price (penalty for being a lying cheat), then do not deal with him. It sounds like you have found a car salesman of fish... "Today is the last day in my quarter and that's why I am willing to make a deal, but if you wait until tomorrow the price goes up since I will have..."

Not to derail, but I live in Clifton Park (15 mins away). Let me know if you ever want to split the shipping costs on a vendor purchase.
