sounds pretty rotten to me, I would just tell the guy no thanks and then look elsewhere.

sounds like an immature douche that doesnt know how to handle a business transaction like an adult. if he had second thoughts, just say so. dont raise the price because they grew 1/8". what an idiot. ive had many sellers flake on me because they had second thoughts. but they straight out told me. i understood, and went on with my business.

look elsewhere

you are in the right. You both agreed on price and date for pickup. Just because he could not meet the date does not mean he can up the price. if that was the case every store would change the prices daily as fish grew.
Both agrreing on the price and date put you in a verbal contract. The other guy changing the price is a breach in contract. Unfortunaly not to much you could do. You could take him to court and could easly win but the cost would not make it worth it. Though most states have strict punishment for breaching contracts even verbal ones.

sad to say but if the othr guy not going to keep his end of the bargun, its best to walk away. I would. I would not want to even deal with him after he did that, not only i wouldnt want to deal with him i also warn others on how he does bussiness, which what he doing is not good practice.

To be honest with ya you can come down to the Albany area and pick up 2 in pb for $11. Also do you have a tank capable of holding 2 pbs
Maybe the types of bass that op is after cant be bought for eleven bucks. There are quite a few different species of them and their prices vary.

A deal is a deal. If they wont honor the original offer, walk away...I wouldn't deal with dishonorable, shady, games...etc. I would find a reputable source and pay more if I had to.

Always go with your gut. We get those feelings for a reason. I have sold fish and have felt like I could have or should have asked for more afterwards but that is greed and we all have to let that go. So go with your gut and if you decide you don't want his I have 2 peacock bass that happen to be up for sale right now... lol PM me. Not that I want to undercut anyone..:)

Who is this seller? The seller is wrong since both parties had a verbal agreement and they delayed the transaction.
