great post very informative...as far as getting it to sink they actually make clips that you can suction cup to the glass... or you could also tie it down to one of your decorations

I use stainless skewers. Slide them through whatever I am feeding and put it in. Pull the empties in the morning.

I use a spoon. Stick it through zucchini or whatever you choose to feed. Sinks everything and no sharp edges. With my luck, I'd probably end up with a speared fish if I used a skewer.

I noticed some fruits can be fed. Does anyone know if Bananas are ok?

They are not outright bad but will destroy your water and banana bits will get in every nook and cranny...
