Should I continue to boycott the store?

Give them the benefit of the doubt. They seem to be trying. If youre still not sure, go in and talk to the people about it in person and see if they seem sincere.

I'd believe that. When I worked at an LFS, sometimes we would get little bonuses from the wholesalers. Nothing like that, though. They all knew we were kind of a hippy store.
 
id give them the benefit of the doubt, seeing how they cared enough to send you a letter of apology, however if they pull it again for another holiday or something of some sort, walk out.
 
In order to keep the doors open LFS's have to keep suppliers happy and at times this means taking fish they may not be really happy with. Remember that while you are a concerned hobbiest they are ALSO trying to put bread on the table. They also still sell UGF plates and accessories along with a lot of brands of filters I wouldnt give 2 cents for but they DO sell. If they stick to thier guns and ONLY sell the best they wont be in buissness very long.
 
tahts lame. why would you boycott the store because of dyed fish. let them do what they do and you do what you do (buy the fish you want).
even if they replied by saying that ILoveYOU fish are good for sales during Valentines Day dont make it your responsibility to do something about it. youre just another customer and the store just wants to make money.
I boycott this thread too. LAME. 10 people voted yes. LAME!!!
