even if they replied by saying that ILoveYOU fish are good for sales during Valentines Day dont make it your responsibility to do something about it. youre just another customer and the store just wants to make money.

thats like not shopping at ToysRUs because they sell cigarettes. most fish at your lfs come from horrible wholesale conditions. might as well boycott those fish too. LAME x 10!!

ok but i just dont see the point of not shopping at a lfs because of a fish they purchased. shopping at a store that has altered fish doesnt mean youre supporting the altering. the LFS might be supporting altering of fish because they are selling them but thats them. a customer is a customer and its not the customers job to tell a store what they can or cannot sell. unless its illegal.

plus the store owner has to make a living. if he can make a few extra bucks by selling altered fish on a holiday then let him. dont gotta refuse to shop there. its only your loss and i guess his too. and the fish.

TO POPCORN FISH, Tattooing a fish is mutilation. You can go on with your merry little life, I won't. As it turned out, they aren't happy about them either. Management said they wouldn't get them anymore, and didn't plan on geting them this time.

I dont think they sell cigarettes at Toys R Us. They do sell lots of toy guns, knives and grenades though!

Nothing wrong with that, kids acting out violently later in life has more to do with bad parenting than it does with blaming toy guns. If anything, it is important to get youngsters to understand gun safety

The manager of the fish room in my lfs gets annoyed with me for telling people the truth about the altered fish. It's funny to me. It's also disturbing to see how many people really don't know anything about how this is done, and that it's not permanent. I only return to them for the simple fact that other than selling these fish, their stock is amazing, and their prices aren't bad. The manager will eventually get over the fact that I know more than he does, maybe I'll get a job out of it. lol
