Nothing wrong with that, kids acting out violently later in life has more to do with bad parenting than it does with blaming toy guns. If anything, it is important to get youngsters to understand gun safety

guns dont kill people do. if you fail a test in school do you blame the pencil for the wrong answers? no you fail the kid for not getting his studies. stop putting the blame on gun/others others and accept the responsibilitly of ones actions. this is as ridiculous as banning dodgeball in school.

Good luck on that job. I went to a petland over here, they had a Jardini with a Dempsey. I told 1 of the employees the the Jardini would kill the Dempsey. She told me how many years experience the manager had, and he knows what he is doing. I mentioned the fresh bite marks on the Dempsey. She got another employee to talk to me, and told me the same manager experience crap. I told him the Dempsey has fresh bite marks on him and if they are kept together the Dempsey would be dead. He walked over the tank, and couldn't believe I was right. He went to look for an open tank to put the Dempsey in. Just because someone works in a pet store, doesn't mean they know everything.

I'd like to ad that there is a LFS that has tanks full of died and tattooed fish. I will not buy from them. If they don't care about the fish I doubt I'll be getting a healthy one.

Trust me Im no anti gun nut, far from it. I just dont like the idea of toy guns - they teach bad habits. I will take my grand daughters shooting or buy them a .22 before I buy them toy guns. I dont like the idea of kids getting comfortable with the idea of shooting at each other. I also dont like airsoft and paintball - but that might be PTSD ha ha!

And the manager hates the fact that he doesn't know everything, and still tries to correct me lol! Selling gold ck's as "albinos", is just minor compared to the other mistakes he's made. "sure, you can put that bichir in with your o's, he'll be fine" what he didn't say is it'll be fine when it's a foot long! The little guy is maybe 3 inches and the person asking had a 10 inch oscar!

I think it would become lunch......

Although, they should have never displayed them (if they didn't want them) I hope they learned a valuable lesson.

If they do a 'bone head' again, perhaps re-instate the boycott

but even if they wanted the fish because it was valentines day i wouldnt boycott them. whats that gonna do. if i were a fish salesman i would do whatever it took to get me my money. id sell fish with the american flag on it if it was the 4th of july. as long as im not the one doing the tatooing.

No, don't boycott the store. You did a good thing though letting them know your feelings. Too many people will say nothing and then just go to a forum and complain.
