  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
its going to be bigger now, 8,616.96 gallons or so...

well after some hard thought, i think im going to get some koi, plecos, and maybe a few other guys that can live nice together, maybe some oscars or GG?....my question is, does anyone have any experience with putting crawfish (crayfish) in thier pond, that has a liner? I have a 45mil FS EPDM, will they go through it?

sorry can't help you with your crayfish question, but stocking wise, I don't think you can go wrong with CA cichlids like viejas, cons, HRPs, JDs, Jags, etc... I say CA cichlids because you said the temperature fluctuates between winter and summer and even with that depth, the water temp will vary slightly and Central American fish are hardy when it comes to water params (IME). gl keep us updated!

I use that liner alot, and have dropped alot of rocks on it. (don't do that, it is bad) I cannot see a cray fish hurting the liner at all, that stuff is tough. but to be on the safe side, just make sure it is covered with rock and you will be fine. if it does put a hole in the liner it is not a big deal because it is super easy to patch.

hi......fish and crayfish dont really mix......unless the fish are rather large, plus crayfish will get out if u dont have somthing to stop them, and they will most likley try to eat the fish.... if it was me forget the crays.....

During the winter it will drop into the high 60's, water temp that is....

Summer water temp?

i dont know yet. I asked my neighbor what his pool temp was, so i would know the temp for winter. Ill let you know in summer time, i guess, unless someone else knows?

Does anyone have crawfish in thier liner pond? Would rather hear from experience than speculation...
