They're an invasive species in the Atlantic and Caribbean; they need to be eliminated before they throw nature out of balance more than they already have. If it takes people collecting them for food in order to eliminate them, then the more power to them."Fishermen and divers realize it's a danger to our native marine life, through its predation.
