what a great pic of you and gorgeous bird.... oh yes he really likes you.. he looks like he is so relaxed too, cheek to cheek..

He's very friendly and deserving of a good home. He does like fingers, though. He's smart too! He figured out how to undo my leather wrist band on the first try! Pictures don't do his colors justice either, they're iridescent all along his back and tail. If I had $3,500, space, and time he would definitely be sitting on my shoulder right now. Plus, it would be impossible to sneak him into a dorm room without attracting everyone's attention.

Beautiful macaw. What hybrid is it? Harlequin? Catelina?

He's a Miligold, Military x Blue and Gold. He's very expensive too, $3,500. If only....

That is a very unique miligold. They generally dont have that much red on them and the orangeish color doesn't generally go quite as far onto the sides of the head. That is why I was thinking there was some scarlet or greenwing in him. Maybe he is a 2nd generation hybrid with 3 different species? Do you know the breeders? Sorry about all of the questions just a very unique miligold. And that is VERY expensive! They are normally in the $1500 range. Here is a picture of Lucy my miligold macaw the pic is a couple months old I will try and get more up tonight.

yeah that baby macaw is VERY unique colors if its mili-gold and what logo says about price is true usually a mili-gold is about the same price or maybe little more/less than getting a full B&G, looks like he might have some greenwing or something in him, very pretty baby though baby macaws have the cutest, most innocent looking little faces they are just too cute!

I stand corrected, he's a harlequin. I'm color deficient (almost colorblind), so it's a little hard for me to distinguish some colors, and I can't even see green anymore. I probably have the price wrong too. I'll be back down there soon, so I'll double check then.

The hyacinth macaw, Goose, almost broke my knuckle on my right hand. That would have probably ended my sculpting career if he bit any harder.

It would be hard to distinguish macaws with out seeing color well! And that price may be a package deal? I think harlequins are like $1700ish...Not sure though. Anyways he is still a very beautiful macaw.

And you are so lucky you have hyacinths for sale around you!(not for the biting part though) I have only seen one hy for sale ever and I fell in love with her but couldnt afford her. One day I will have one though.
