WOW! Great pictures Ruck, You can most defiantly see the reds coming in. Especially in the last picture. I have had my San Rafael pair since April 2010 and my second pair since April 2011 and have been feeding them store bought fish food and they haven't lost any coloration not one bit. A particular so called knowledgeable member here stated it was because of what they were eating in the wild that made them that color and also believed that only a percentage of the fry would come out to look like the parents and the other percentage come out looking like a blue Umbee.:screwy::screwy: Seems to me the know it ALL's don't know it all because my Gorillus are producing themselves over and over. :grinno::grinno:This is a true color variant. Thanks for sharing brother

Thanks UMBEEKING!:ROFL::headbang2:grinno:

Thank you brother, UMBEE POWERR!!!!

You guys better get on these quick or you will miss out,and the parents look more amazing in person!!!

I'm glad you got some Gatling. You still keep
Istlanum's? What else do you have going?

Yeah I still have 3 Istlanum's females and a pair of red tigers I just thinned out my stock last year because life you know
how it is,but when I seen these bad boys I knew I had to get back in full swing,it was funny when I got home today I opened the
door and with a big smile on my face,with the bucket in my hand and my little brother looks at me and he says "oooh the
electric bill is gonna go up!" LOL,and also glad to see you grabbed some these guys are sweet.

Looking good big dog! Now watch how fast they grow! I believe they grow faster then normal Umbees. I went to the CICHLID Mecca of the West Coast last night (Ruck Fuels place):) and his already doubled in size since my last visit two Weeks ago and the reds on there breast region and on top of there heads is coming in strong at 2.75-3inches. As we all know with Umbriferus there colors always improve with age and from what I'm seeing with Gorillus these little Apes are going to be stunning!
