predator cats for a 55?

From what I've read, that is their absolute max size, but they don't often grow past the 10-12" mark. Kind of like how you'll read some articles that will say that lima cats get to 30"+ and others say they only get to around 12-16", ~30" is their maximum, but they very rarely reach that size.

You would put a fish that could easily grow in excess of 24" in a 55 gallon (which btw is only 13" wide)? :screwy:

don't want to derail thread but in original post growout was mentioned. and i know the dimensions of a 55. the 125 would be more then fine for a fish that doen't move much.
 
Fill it with bumble bee cats! And the reason no cats can live in there is because there all too small to be predators
