Project Suvattii

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Need to update pics but I will say the Suvattii is very responsive to me. I ran out of worms so I went through stuff in the freezer. Well this thing seems to eat anything. Frozen krill, squid, tilipia, shrimp, razor clam meat. Apparently not picky at all. A nice change of pace compared to my hairy puffer that has to ‘inspect’ everything forever before it decides to eat.

Badger is growing like a weed and is super aggressive, tried to bite my mother in laws fingers outside the glass... lol, wont talk about it.

A couple update pics

Goofing around taking pics of the Arrowhead made me realize how much this little guy has grown. I think it might be almost the same size as my 4 year old hairy puffer. Probably 5" or so. I think the Arrowhead may get considerably larger with the way it aggressively feeds. How large will the Suvattii get?

There is a nice one for sale in the Divers Den on Live Aquaria right now.

Not really a fish update but more of a tank update. Been working in my garage to do some stacked racks with a 75g on top and a 65B (puffer tank) below. I got the one rack done and the arrowhead got moved. He was unhappy with me for a bit but got over it.

This is one of the completed units... other is in the works

Adding an updated pic of the garage tank racks in progress. A couple plastic parts were broken in the box and I am waiting on Dewalt for them. So this is my full set up. It will have two 75g, two 65B (puffer tanks) and something to replace that 20L. A 40B would be ideal but I kind of want something showy as opposed to utility looking. I really want a 46g bowfront there but hard to find them at a reasonable cost. I might look for a 38 gallon to go there. I have spent a lot on all this set up so maybe I might splurge for the middle tank.
