PS3 or Xbox360 or Neither

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm enjoying my PS3. Gran Turismo is fun. I like Genji: Day of the Blade too. They have more cool games coming out too.

Must not be a big gamer then or Halo fan...

ANYWAYS if you haven't gotten the last update to the 360 3 months or so ago you would realize that you can now stream movies from your PC very easily without the use of any program.

I have both consoles with quite a lot of games on both.If I had to sell one tomorrow it would instantly be the 360.I wouldn't even have to think about it.My kids would even agree. Both have good games(although Halo3 was a huge let down for me and my son) Over all I prefer the feel of the PS3.Being able to stream all my media flawlessly from my pc is a must for me.This includes xvid, avi and divx files.Something the 360 is useless at without running the Transcode360 software which runs slow and only reduces the quality. As a media player the 360 really is lacking. To add to this no blue ray.I myself am waiting for the 360 to die after seeing a few of my Friends receive the ring of death and somewhat less adequate service. Also, why pay for on line play with the 360.I paid for the game and the Internet connection.Shouldn't this be enough.I am glad Sony realized this.

I agree that xbox and ps3 are great systems. My personal preference is the PC of course. I enjoy the games and personally prefer keyboard and mouse controls (altho mny games support the x-box 360 controller if you prefer it).

It may cost a bit more to have a next generation PC but I think its worth it. A nice PC doesnt just play games well, it has tons of functionality in my opinion. Making it a solid choice for a all around performer.

There are many games to look forward to as well and often multiplayer for pc games is free of course.

Nope, I don't play games that often and I'm like a 3 legged dog in Halo. I do enjoy acting like a maniac in that game though.

Personally i cant stand Halo. ive played each one of them exactly once each. No im not the biggest gamer. i dont decicate my life to a my games, like some people do, and in some cases its a saving grace for some people, either as a distraction from major life problems, a hobby that keeps them from doin somthin "stupid" and gettin them selfs in trouble.

But heres my stand on pickin your system, Play them both, either friends that have them, or stores that sell them have the playable ones, try them out. Make you own mind up

The only things i would consider besides tryin them, is with the online play, is which system do your friends have that play the same types of games as you. I have personally had both systems, the 360 early before any of my friends had it, sold it, no RROD tho. And then bought a PS3 and all my friends bought 360s casof the price diff. so theres that line, thats my only negative feeling abotu owning this one.

Now if theyd bring out cross platform online gaming for all three, PS3, 360, PC. hmm one can dream cant they
