Pundamilia Nyererei

He does look nice. Different than all mine. I wonder which species it is for sure though? 1st pic is very nice.

Its very hard to capture how he looks with my camera. He is very nice looking, but he definitely isnt flared up, its just his normal color, he doesn't seem to be dominant or anything. My ruby green has taken on some very dominant colors since adding him, but they seem to get along, the pundamilia follows the ruby green around all the time but I have yet to see aggression between them.

Thanks. I tried to get a nice mix where nothing really looked the same, that way I have a nice variety and hopefully it should help with aggression.

I still havent been able to figure out which variant this is, I have seen some red flanks that look a lot a like though. Is it possible that it is a red flank?

Can anyone tell me which Pundamilia Nyererei this is? It is labeled as "Tangerine Nyererei" on livefishdirect.com. I cant tell which variant it is though, is there even much difference between the difference variants?

I bought the same fish from livefishdirect.com, also a Ruby Green. Last week I lost the Ruby Green (unknown reason) and tried to call Josh with questions. Tried calling him several times, and also e-mail. NO ANSWER. Not sure why??

My Tangerine Nyererei is doing fine, (bought him as a male 2"), but still not too much color. Possibility is a female?? Although, I read that single Nyererei may not color up too much. It's too bad I cannot contact livefishdirect..

Its very possible that he sent you a female. I had 3 or 4 fish that turned out to be female, so did another member here. My ruby green from him is very plain and doesnt have good coloration. I like the way my neyerei looks, even though it doesnt look like any other neyerei i've seen.

Do you have any pics of yours? Mine is about 3", when I received him he was about 2.5" and showed color right away.
