I've never purchased a fish that had a fine print sticker that read (not for resale)

stevenrox;3741234; said:well....I agree with both sides. Yes people can make money of it and make others have fishes they want at a good price.......but it doesn't do this specie of fish any good if it's being harvested in a HUGE AMOUNT. Like by the thousands easily. I know he didn't mention any fish but i know they are at least taking 4000+ indo dats out of the wild EASILY. I wasn't in the hobby when wide bar dats were banned so don't flame me if I'm wrong but didn't they get banned because the population was low from being taken out of the wild in such large amounts?
pupumole;3741280; said:i was talking about this in general , but the indos is a good example of what i mean. hobbyist, being businessmen, trying to make profit, i think thats quite irresponsible to the fish. collector , distributor, wholesaler, retailer, they are trying to make a living, and fish are lost on those levels already. on our level, shouldn't we be the one taking care of the fish, instead of causing all these unnecessary death on the moves when we are doing so much reselling? shouldn't we care more about the effort the people that have brought us these fish alive for us to enjoy. Arent u ashame that being a hobbyist, you r letting those people's effort go in vain , while trying to make a few bucks and risking the fish's life?
and sorta a side topic somewhat related to this , referring to stevenrox post, if indos r being treated like this, this could possibly lead to another dat extinction( in the wild) just like the widebar. thousands r being taken from the wild, as hobbyist, we should treat every single one of them PRECIOUSLY instead of selling and buying them as products .
because who cares!pupumole;3741107; said:if you dont care, why do you care that theres a "who cares" option for the who-cares-people. ^^:;
