I'd give it a solid 8, it's a little too symmetrical but you definatly have it going in the right direction. 
I'll give it an 9, it looks really good to me.
I asked my mom(who really doesnt keep fish but likes them) and she said 9.

I think it is like stated in earlier posts. Too straight and consitantly square.
I also believe the color is really one sided. The color is so one sided in my opinion that it doesn't flow..
I would suggest a little more imaginative with the structure adn add some different color to make it a little more natural in my opinion
The equipment however looks like you can get SPECTACULAR results with a little more imagination

needs maybe more color, randomness( ) the rocks look to set up... i happen to like the natural look

The colour is too boring. Adding all different types of colour corals like SPS's.
Adding blues/purples/greens would really brighten things up. Some blue maxima clams would be great too.

We are very limited by light. We are slowly getting more color, but as you know, the best are stoney coral, and there is just no way to properly light them with this set up.

i would give 9 but i dont like the octopus on the wall so i give it a 8.6894578849674867496897425695656.not bad though. especially for what u had to work with

yeah, if you get a reefer to look at it. the clam shouldn't be there, there is a bit of red slime on the bottom which needs to be taken care of. the tank needs to be cycled a bit more before adding more corals. for a first time set up, its pretty good, probably an 8. now the fun part of reef, its time to make some changes and make it much better.
No sps, acropora, since there really isn't enough light, don't know what type of lighting, but 8 x 96 pc might be ok, maybe 8 h.o. t5 lights would do better, less of Metal halides.
