your water Q is crap.... clean your main tank basically 100% .... try going mela and pima combo with about 6 tbs of salt in the tank.... a more powerfull antibiotic may be better.... rays and medications thread lists meds in there you can use

ammonia burn is red sores on the underside of the disc..

these symptoms are usually from very poor substrate maintenance..

i will recomend change as much water as possible, do it in small amount each time, slowly increase the %. and dose some antibiotic each time you change water. i do not think salt is advisable in this stage, salt will kill the ray that have so many open wound. good luck....

The 180 has no substrate, 100% glass bottom w/ wet dry filter in it. The titanium heater didnt have a cover on it. If i put in Maracyn i guess i would 1/2 the dose? The reason i ask never used it before...
