Ray very sick...

Its finrot. Kill the poor ray. It wont make it anyway. Its the most humane thing to do.
 
Most humane way is to put it in the freezer in a lil baggy it will make it go with no pain it will just shutoff its body.
 
Im not going to put it down. Ive seen to many remarkable recoveries over the years. The spreading has stopped 100% almost overnight and it shed off the remainder of the dead skin. The question is if it will survive the trauma of the loss of the outer disc.

I have never used any meds with any of my rays and I have had over 30-40 over the last few years... Not saying meds wouldnt work but in my experience the best thing for a sick ray is pristine water and salt only. Your dosage of salt seems good. Do a 50% water change both in the morning and at night and right before bed kneel and pray to who it is you believe in :) rays can be strong and make it through a lot. I would not kill the ray like others are saying but thats me. Do we kill a human who is sick? No we do our best to try and help them no matter what it is.

WOW! You guys are so optimistic. Why are you guys so quick to want to play God (or like Michael says whom ever it is you believe in)?
If the ray dies it dies. Just keep it in good quality water and if it passes let the ray and what ever higher power you believe in decide.
